Yahoo Sports NFL on Deshaun Watson

Watson's 3-game winning streak and top-10 efficiency stats signal strong QB play.

Watson has led the Browns to three consecutive game-winning drives this season, ranking sixth in the NFL in completion percentage (69.6%), 14th in passer rating ahead of Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and Sam Darnold, and sixth in quarterback rushing yards per game (31.8). Jets defensive coordinator Brian Duker noted Watson is "doing a good job in the drop-back pass game" with "dual-threat" athleticism and is "throwing the ball well." Jets linebacker Demario Davis added Watson is "doing a great job going through his first read and second read, and if it's not there, either keeping plays alive or keeping his eyes downfield."
