Davis Webb loses play-calling duties after four games of offensive struggles

Davis Webb, the offensive coordinator, has lost play-calling duties after the Broncos' offense was inept through the first four games. Payton acknowledged Webb's talent and future as a head coach but emphasized the need for change: 'It's the group. So when I met with the offense, it's about buttoning up all of the little things that keep you from sustaining drives.' Webb will remain involved in the game plan but no longer call plays, with Payton taking over to improve offensive balance and execution.
