Of course, the Cardinals tend to get rid of the ball quickly because they have two very good receivers in the short-to-intermediate game: tight end Trey McBride and wideout Michael Wilson. McBride ranks second in the NFL in short-pass receiving yards (184) and Wilson is 23rd with 127.

Wilson 23rd in short-pass yards; part of Cardinals' quick-hitting passing scheme.

Wilson ranks 23rd in short-pass receiving yards (127) and is part of the Cardinals' quick-hitting passing attack alongside Trey McBride. The two receivers are central to Arizona's strategy of getting the ball out quickly (Brissett averages 2.6 seconds to throw, fourth quickest in the NFL), exploiting the Lions' weak pass defense coverage despite Detroit's strong pass rush metrics.
