STACKED’s take
Prescott's Cowboys lost to winless Buccaneers 24-16; lowest scoring output since Week 3 last season.
Prescott and the Cowboys suffered a 24-16 home loss to the previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night, falling to 2-3 on the season with their second straight home defeat. The source notes this marked only the sixth time in Cowboys history they lost to a team with a 0-4 record or worse. Prescott acknowledged the loss was one the team was 'supposed to have on paper,' stating 'In this league, you've got to win the games you're supposed to win. And when a winless team comes into your home stadium in a Thursday night primetime game, yeah, we're supposed to win that.' The Cowboys scored just 16 points, their lowest since Week 3 of last season, and recorded only 50 rushing yards, their lowest since Week 16 in 2024.
