Smith's failed 'Andre Johnson role' is a cautionary tale.

Torrey Smith is cited as a classic example of a 'bust' when analysts over-rely on the narrative that a player will step into a specific role in a new offensive system, referencing his failed transition to the 'Andre Johnson role' under Gary Kubiak in Baltimore.
