Brown was expected to smash in Week 5 against Miami but got outtouched (13 carries vs. 14) and outscored (5.5 fantasy points vs. 14.8) by backup Samaje Perine. After five games, Brown has reached double-digit fantasy points only twice and hasn't exceeded 16.3 points in any game. The source attributes this partly to the Bengals' efficient passing game and game script, but notes his ceiling has been capped severely as Cincinnati's run game struggles. Brown is downgrading from expected RB2 to RB3/flex range, especially if he doesn't post a big game soon.
