Bootleg Football on Kirk Cousins

Cousins is the starter but faces a short leash if the offense stalls.

Cousins is the designated starter for the Raiders to begin the season, serving as a savvy veteran bridge. While he is expected to start, his performance is viewed as middling and inconsistent over the last three years. If the offense fails to produce under his leadership, he is at risk of being benched in favor of Fernando Mendoza, as the team cannot afford to flip-flop between quarterbacks.
