Ron Stewart on Zay Flowers

Flowers' worst week was Huntley start; still a smash hit with Lamar Jackson.

WR negatively impacted by backup QB Tyler Huntley starting in Week 5; had his worst output yet despite a season-high in snaps. Flowers was finally healthy and ready to go, but the Ravens' passing volume and efficiency both collapsed with Huntley: passing yards down 20% (258 to 201), EPA per drop back fell from third-best to 18th-best, and pass rate over expectation dropped from -5.1% to -9%. Despite the poor week, Ron Stewart remains bullish, stating 'It is so clear that he is a smash hit this year,' suggesting the poor performance is a temporary matchup issue rather than a talent concern.
