NFL: The Insiders on Brock Bowers

Bowers is an elite receiver, not a traditional tight end

Bowers is playing at an elite level, functioning as a wide receiver rather than a traditional tight end. He leads all tight ends in EPA per route run (0.25) and EPA per target (0.66). With 74% of his snaps detached from the formation, he is being used similarly to Puka Nacua, and the source expects him to command a wide receiver-level contract extension.
