Yahoo Sports NFL on Jackson Hawes

Hawes' penalties, including false start, undermined his otherwise solid blocking.

Hawes committed multiple penalties in his blocking tight end role. A false start penalty pushed the Bills back in a short-yardage situation, and an offensive pass interference penalty negated a Keon Coleman reception (the second time in the second half a penalty wiped out a big Coleman catch). The source notes: 'When you're a blocking tight end, it's tough to come in and commit a handful of penalties. Hawes did a nice job in that blocking role, as per usual, but a couple of rough plays put a spotlight on the big mauler.'
