Buffalo Rumblings on Jackson Hawes

Hawes's false start and OPI penalties undermined his solid blocking performance.

Hawes committed a false start penalty that pushed the Bills back in a short-yardage situation and an offensive pass interference penalty that negated a Keon Coleman reception. The source notes 'When you're a blocking tight end, it's tough to come in and commit a handful of penalties. Hawes did a nice job in that blocking role, as per usual, but a couple of rough plays put a spotlight on the big mauler.'
