From the video
anyone who projects to be the leader of a backfield in any given week deserves to be rostered in fantasy football. That would be the case if Barkley is not back in this game.

Pierce is a desperation RB2 start if Barkley is out.
Despite a poor performance with only 12 yards on 13 touches, Dameon Pierce remains rosterable because he projects as the leader of the backfield while Saquon Barkley is sidelined. His struggles are largely attributed to a decimated offensive line that saw him contacted at or behind the line of scrimmage on eight of his 11 carries. He is a reasonable $6-$8 waiver bid for those desperate for an RB2 start.
