Cooper is the perfect career trajectory comparison for Harrison Jr.
Matt Harmon identifies Amari Cooper as the perfect player comparison for Marvin Harrison Jr., citing their shared high ceilings, versatility, and tendency toward inconsistent effort or production despite immense talent. Harmon also uses Cooper as a historical case study for receiver usage, noting that Cooper's career was revitalized when he moved from an X receiver role to a Z receiver position, which resulted in some of his best career seasons.
