Acme Packing Company on Josh Jacobs
From the article
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur stated that the team received no updates on the status of running back Josh Jacobs, in terms of the league's feedback on when he'll return from his time on the exempt list. Jacobs has spent the entire regular season on the exempt list.
STACKED’s take
Jacobs' exempt list status has no return timeline; legal proceedings delay NFL decision.
Josh Jacobs remains on the exempt list for the entire regular season with no timeline for return. Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur stated the team received no updates from the league on when Jacobs will be eligible to return. The NFL is awaiting video evidence from the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department related to Jacobs' battery and criminal damage to property charges (to which he pleaded no contest); the police department has delayed the video release beyond the 10-day response deadline due to attorneys representing record subjects seeking judicial orders restraining disclosure. The legal process must be resolved before the NFL can move forward, meaning Jacobs' fantasy availability remains uncertain and contingent on court proceedings.
