Hartitz ranks Woody Mars RB17 against the Jaguars with Dave Montgomery out (week to week, groin injury). After Montgomery left, Mars handled all 19 backfield touches for 85 scoreless yards and a 24-yard touchdown run that was nullified by a holding penalty on Brevin Jordan. Hartitz notes the Texans' offensive line ranks in the bottom 10, the matchup against Jacksonville is tough, and Houston has shown little interest in throwing to Mars. Despite being better than Montgomery, Mars remains a volume-based RB2 in a bad situation, similar to his role last year when Montgomery and Joe Mixon were out.
