Bleeding Green Nation on Tanner McKee

McKee starts vs. Panthers with limited weapons; source expects poor results.

Set to start against the Carolina Panthers despite a turbulent offseason. McKee logged a 68.9 passer rating in Week 18 against Washington, playing significantly worse after DeVonta Smith left the game. The source notes McKee showed promise in limited past action but struggled during offseason QB2 reps rotation with Andy Dalton, with neither player establishing clear separation. McKee was initially designated as emergency third QB before being moved back to QB2 after Dalton's Week 3 interception. The source expresses low expectations: "It's not easy to imagine McKee will thrive this Sunday" given the Eagles' offensive struggles, potential absence of DeVonta Smith and Saquon Barkley, and an uncertain offensive line.
