Gang Green Nation on Sterling Shepard

Shepard can stretch the field despite possession-receiver label; led Big 12 in yards per catch.

Shepard has a reputation as a possession receiver but has made plenty of downfield plays over the years; led the Big 12 in yards per catch in 2014. While not as effective as a deep threat in recent years compared to early in his career, he has still made occasional downfield plays and can produce on the outside despite primary slot usage.
