NeutralInjury

Shepard's Achilles (2021) and ACL (2022) injuries derailed his career trajectory.

Shepard's career was significantly impacted by an Achilles injury in December 2021 that ended his season after a productive start, and an ACL tear in week three of 2022. He returned in 2023 but struggled to crack the rotation with just 10 catches for 57 yards, though he has since demonstrated ability to contribute in limited roles.
