Geno Smith's passing offense outranks Jets rushing unit despite minimum-deal salary.

Geno Smith, on essentially a minimum-level contract, has led a Jets passing offense that ranks 17th in DVOA and 19th in EPA through five weeks—outranking the team's rushing offense (19th DVOA, 22nd EPA), a result the organization likely did not anticipate given the salary structure and offensive design priorities.
