Yahoo Sports NFL on Kenneth Walker III

Walker's 537 rushing yards in four games already surpass expectations; contract looks like excellent value.

Walker's three-year free agent signing was initially viewed as a significant investment at a position the Chiefs traditionally haven't spent money on, but after Jahmyr Gibbs and Bijan Robinson reset the running back market, his contract became excellent value. Through four games, Walker has 537 rushing yards and 621 yards from scrimmage, surpassing expectations; he has completely changed the Chiefs' offensive identity, given them a home-run threat in the backfield, and made defenses respect the run on every play. Arrowhead Pride calls it potentially the most-impactful free agent signing of the offseason.
