Signing Kenneth Walker may end up being the most-impactful free agent signed this offseason... 537 rushing yards and 621 yards from scrimmage through four games is beyond what anyone reasonably could have expected. He has completely changed the identity of the offense, given the Chiefs a home-run threat in the backfield and made defenses respect the run on every play.

Walker's 537 rushing yards through 4 games have exceeded expectations and reset Chiefs' offensive identity.

Walker's signing may be the most-impactful free agent move of the offseason. Through four games, he has posted 537 rushing yards and 621 yards from scrimmage, surpassing expectations and completely changing the Chiefs' offensive identity. He has given Kansas City a home-run threat in the backfield and made defenses respect the run on every play; his three-year deal initially looked like a significant investment at a position the Chiefs traditionally haven't spent much money, but after Jahmyr Gibbs and Bijan Robinson reset the running back market, Walker's contract became excellent value.
