Yahoo Fantasy Football on Josh Downs
From the article
Downs is the WR25 in expected half PPR points over the past month on 7.3 targets per game as their best wideout. He's gone under or even with his expected points total in eight straight games, however, so we can only get some optimistic, even when things do look good on paper.
STACKED’s take
Downs' 7.3 targets and WR25 projection offset by eight straight games of underperformance.
Downs is the WR25 in expected half PPR points over the past month on 7.3 targets per game as the Colts' best wideout. The Colts' lack of a downfield presence will funnel even more passes underneath to Downs and Tyler Warren. However, he's gone under or even with his expected points total in eight straight games, so optimism must be tempered even when things look good on paper. The Titans rank 12th in half PPR points allowed per game to opposing WR rooms, with a lot of that on underneath passes specifically; they've allowed the second-most points to WRs on passes under 10 air yards. Undersized WRs like Jaylin Noel, Zay Flowers, and DeVonta Smith have given them issues. Indianapolis heads into this divisional clash with a 25.75-point implied team total (sixth) as a 7-point home favorite.
