Stroud is QB5 with Collins on field; QB1 upside if Texans maintain 63% neutral pass rate.
Stroud ranks 15th at quarterback with 18.6 half PPR points per game through five starts. His 280.4 passing yards per game rank fifth in the league, complemented by the QB14 EPA per dropback. With Nico Collins on the field, however, Stroud is the QB5. Now that Marvin Harrison Jr. is in the mix, hopefully in a better role for his skillset, the Texans need to continue what they did last year: a season-high 63% neutral pass rate. If so, Stroud becomes fantasy-QB1 curious for the first time in quite a while. Jacksonville ranks 20th in half PPR points allowed to QBs, yielding 16.8 points per game, but Joe Burrow exploded for 27.7 fantasy points against them in a similar-styled offense. Jacksonville is facing the highest neutral pass rate this year because their run defense is so strong, so while their defense is good on paper, there could be enough volume to be just fine. Houston is a 3-point road underdog with an implied team total of 20.25 points (20th).
