Top-12 TE play while Bowers is out; solid long-term role in 12-personnel

Michael Mayer is a top-12 tight end option while Brock Bowers is sidelined. He saw 81% of snaps and six receptions in his debut. The source expects him to remain a key part of the offense even after Bowers returns, as the team will likely utilize 12-personnel heavily.
