Daily Norseman on Kyler Murray

Murray's ability to shoulder load in O'Connell's system is underestimated; offense trending up.

Murray is central to the Vikings' Super Bowl path as the quarterback tasked with shouldering the offensive load in Kevin O'Connell's ball-control system. Tyler Forness pushes back on national media doubts about Murray's ability to carry the offense, calling the skepticism "bullshit." The episode frames Murray's evolving relationship with O'Connell as foundational—"essentially a boyfriend and girlfriend trying to build a foundation for future success"—with the expectation that post-bye week, the offense will show deeper integration and commitment.
