This is Kenneth Walker. It's not even remotely close. Kenneth Walker is a better running back at this point of his career with a better workload. I do think that McCaffrey is for sure the best player in this deal.
STACKED’s take
Best player in McCaffrey-for-Gentry deal; elite but not worth Shatner/JSN; loses to Walker.
Flock Fantasy states 'I do think that McCaffrey is for sure the best player in this deal' when evaluating a trade of McCaffrey for Gentry and Jeremiah Love. McCaffrey is the target acquisition in a trade for Zack Shatner and JSN; the source acknowledges the trade logic given severe running back room weakness (David Montgomery injury, potential Gent injury), with McCaffrey's elite status justifying the cost despite giving up the best player. However, in a separate trade evaluation, the source considers trading Christian McCaffrey for Kenneth Walker as clearly unfavorable, with Walker being a better running back at this point of his career with a better workload and bye-week advantage.
