Waddle is a preferred start over Metcalf due to defensive coverage expectations

Waddle is preferred over DK Metcalf because he is expected to face a defense that spreads its coverage rather than focusing solely on him. He is viewed as a strong start, with the expectation that he will perform well if the Chargers' defense cannot isolate him.
