JSN shaken up by uncalled illegal hit on final drive; penalty would've put Seahawks in field goal range

JSN took a hard hit from 49ers safety Malik Mustapha on Seattle's final drive (1st and 10 at midfield) that went unflagged; he was shaken up after the hit and couldn't come down with a long ball from Sam Darnold two plays later. The NFL later fined Mustapha $6,998 for the 'hit on the defenseless player' violation, confirming the uncalled penalty. Had the flag been thrown, Seattle would've been at the 49ers 35-yard line in game-tying field goal range, making this a critical missed call that likely altered the game's outcome.
