Mile High Report on Bo Nix
ArticleBroncos vs. Seahawks: The No Bull Review
From the article
But really, Bo Nix is going to keep getting better. Let's not forget that he's got that clutch gene in him and elevates when the going gets tough. That's not a skill you can teach. That's like speed: either you have it, or you don't. I do not think Nix is playing with an injury. I think he's just behind this year because of that injury and how it impacted his offseason. While I am mildly concerned about a couple of the past games where he was not pulling the trigger on some downfield throws, they were not there in this game. I'll start to worry if he's still not letting it rip when he gets guys running free against some of the poorer defenses the Broncos are facing around the corner.

Nix's clutch gene will drive continued improvement; injury recovery, not current injury
Bo Nix possesses a clutch gene that elevates his play when the going gets tough—a skill that cannot be taught. The source does not believe Nix is currently playing injured; rather, he is behind this year due to how his offseason injury recovery impacted his development. While mildly concerned about downfield throw hesitation in past games, the source notes those throws were not available in this game and will monitor his willingness to let it rip against poorer defenses ahead.
