Bleeding Green Nation on Tanner McKee

McKee's poor performance is inseparable from the dysfunctional offensive system.

Backup quarterback evaluated within a dysfunctional offensive system that makes fair assessment difficult. The source states: 'I didn't think Tanner McKee played well, but I am tired of trying to evaluate quarterbacks, running backs, and offensive linemen within an operation this dysfunctional. It isn't fair on the players.' McKee showed capability on individual plays (e.g., a beautiful throw to Darius Cooper on under-center play action), but the offensive scheme's protection breakdowns and poor sequencing prevented him from settling into the game; three incompletions and two sacks on five under-center play-action snaps.
