Video: Week 6 Beyond the Box Score: Matthew Golden and A.J. Brown should have had HUGE games
Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden...these were all on him this week. Not one, but two drop touchdowns. Could have had an extra about 54 yards and two scores...He now has 625 unrealized air yards on the season, which is bonkers because Michael Wilson's in second at 471...Matthew Golden's been great this year. He's sixth in receiving yards in the entire NFL right now and he's left more meat on the bone than just about anyone. Maybe we're just scratching the surface on what the second year talent's going to be doing this year.

625 unrealized air yards, 6th in receiving yards, elite opportunity despite drops

Packers WR leads the NFL in unrealized air yards with 625 through Week 6, far ahead of second-place Michael Wilson (471); he's sixth in receiving yards despite leaving significant production on the field. Golden had two drop touchdowns (54 yards, 2 scores) and drew five DPI penalties (98 yards) in Week 6 alone. He leads the league with 7 drops on the season through Week 6. Ian Hartitz emphasizes that Golden's underlying metrics remain strong and suggests the second-year talent may be scratching the surface of his potential this season; usage is trending upward week-to-week.
