Watching Corey Kiner, not Rhamondre Stevenson or TreVeyon Henderson, salt away the game on Sunday should have everyone's attention. But before you toss him into your starting lineup, let's consider the context.

Kiner's late-game work was context-dependent; Stevenson remains the lead back.

Corey Kiner salted away the game on Sunday, but context matters significantly. TreVeyon Henderson fumbled with four minutes remaining in the third quarter, and Kiner's first carry didn't come until 90 seconds remained in the third quarter. Rhamondre Stevenson still played the majority of snaps and took 44% of carries. The RB group posted their lowest target share of the season at 3.3%. Henderson's nagging ankle injury should keep Kiner on rosters as a handcuff, but Stevenson remains the only back worth using on a week-to-week basis due to his pass-blocking prowess.
