McCarthy is an undeniable draft bust facing elite Texans defense.

McCarthy is described as an undeniable draft bust for the Vikings; despite throwing for nearly 250 yards and a touchdown in less than a quarter in his most recent game, the Giants' betting odds worsened by a full point the day after acquiring him, reflecting a lack of confidence in his ability to perform against a top-tier defense.
