Yahoo Sports NFL on J.J. McCarthy

McCarthy may shift to game manager role against Texans after aggressive Saints game.

McCarthy got into rhythm against the Saints playing their safeties deep and trying to keep everything in front of them, but he was in a position where he didn't have anything to lose, so he was able to take a lot of chances that the Giants may be reluctant for him to take in Sunday's game against Houston—so he may end up in more of a game manager role.
