Yahoo Fantasy Football on Denzel Boston
From the article
Boston is clearly very good, but he's also attached to an unpredictable pass game and running the most challenging routes available. It's infrequent that Deshaun Watson is throwing the ball over the middle, so Boston is more boom-bust than we'd hoped.
STACKED’s take
Boston's boom-bust profile and Watson's unpredictability limit ceiling despite red-zone role.
Boston is clearly very good but attached to an unpredictable pass game running the most challenging routes available; it's infrequent that Deshaun Watson throws over the middle, making Boston more boom-bust than hoped after WR19 and WR11 finishes to start his career. Since then, he's the WR51 on WR46 usage; his season-long WR25 on WR35 usage split is most reflective of his skill and role with a 19% target share this month and leading red zone option. He's a boom-bust WR3 on the Browns; the Titans rank 10th in half PPR points allowed to opposing WRs and sit 6th against intermediate passes (5-20 air yards) where Boston has seen 20 of his targets this season.
