Packers starting running back Josh Jacobs took the practice field for the first time this season on Thursday after being on the Commissioner's exempt list. This was his first on-field practice with teammates since training camp. While he will get at most two on-field practices this week, both the Lions and national media expect him to suit up and start against the Lions on Sunday. Packers coach Matt LaFleur said "We've been getting him ramped up. He's been in the building. We've been doing things with him, in terms of our strength staff, our athletic training staff. You can't simulate football until you get out there. These next two days are going to be great work for him as we ramp him up."
