Positive signalRole

Maye's mobility and escapability generate consistent big plays despite limited carries.

Maye's mobility and off-script playmaking create consistent big-play opportunities despite limited rushing volume; on Thursday, he recorded only four carries for 26 rushing yards but used his 6-foot-4 frame to score a touchdown by reaching the ball past the goal line, escaped the grasp of Bears safety Dillon Thieneman on third-and-7 to locate tight end Hunter Henry for a 13-yard gain, and lofted a perfectly placed 30-yard TD strike to rookie tight end Eli Raridon while dismissing the Bears' blitz—plays that demonstrate his ability to create when coverage breaks down.
