STACKED’s take
Wilson's production collapsed post-Harrison trade; Denver's elite pass defense makes him a volatile FLEX.
Wilson is a fade in Week 7 against Denver despite maintaining a rare volume floor of at least seven targets in every game. His production has dipped significantly without Marvin Harrison Jr. as a decoy: in two games before MHJ's deactivation and trade, Wilson caught 18 of 30 targets for 184 yards and a touchdown; in two games since, he caught just eight of 14 targets for 62 yards. His yards per route run dropped to 0.9 and yards per target to 4.4 over the last two weeks, and he ranks fourth on the team in receiving yards behind Kendrick Bourne, Elijah Higgins, and Trey McBride. Bourne has outpaced Wilson in target share, catch rate, yards per route run, and nearly every other relevant metric these past two weeks. Denver allows the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to wideouts with the fifth-lowest catch rate and just three touchdowns, and Pat Surtain II is back at practice this week. Wilson has dropped from borderline WR1 to barely borderline WR2.
