The Falcoholic on Brock Purdy
From the article
His 54.3% completion percentage against pressure is the second-best mark in the NFL among starters, and he's just one of four (out of 25 qualifiers who have played at least 50% of their team's offensive snaps) quarterbacks who hasn't thrown an interception under pressure.
STACKED’s take
Purdy's 54.3% completion under pressure ranks 2nd in NFL; elite at avoiding INTs.
Brock Purdy is playing out of his mind with elite pressure management; his 54.3% completion percentage against pressure is the second-best mark in the NFL among starters, and he's one of only four qualifiers (out of 25 who've played at least 50% of snaps) who hasn't thrown an interception under pressure. He doesn't get the ball out quickly, but that's a function of better-than-expected line play and his feel for pressure allowing him to evade and keep plays alive. While he will hold on to the ball long enough to walk into sacks—Atlanta's best bet—his splits under pressure are much less sharp than most passers, making him a lesser but still dangerous quarterback when pressured.
