Quarterback stash for Giants with recent performance data and future upside. Josh Allen notes McCarthy was horrendous last year but is young enough to turn things around. In limited action (less than a quarter) against Saints, McCarthy posted 243 passing yards and 26 rushing yards on two attempts, showing downfield passing ability and mobility. Allen does not recommend starting McCarthy in Week 7 on the road against Houston as a 10-point dog, but projects improved matchups in second half of season (Washington Week 10, Indianapolis Week 12, San Francisco Week 13, Detroit Week 16, Dallas Week 17) as potential streaming opportunities.
