the first thing I need to discuss is going to be the Jonathan Taylor trade rumors. Now, I have Jonathan Taylor on my own fantasy team... When there is this much smoke, there has to be fire. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Indie is taking calls to sell him.
STACKED’s take
Trade rumors swirling; source concerned about landing spot and workload implications.
Trade rumors swirling with multiple destinations speculated (Seattle, Giants, Denver); source owns Taylor and is concerned about landing spot, preferring Minnesota or Indianapolis over committee-heavy schemes in Denver, Giants, or Seattle. Source says 'when there is this much smoke, there has to be fire' and expects Colts may be taking calls to sell despite Athletic's report that he's not a trade candidate yet. Trade speculation indicates Taylor could be traded to Seattle, which would significantly increase his workload and fantasy value if deal materializes, with Zack Charadet going back to Indianapolis as part of the package. Zack Shurmur's unexpected inactivity Friday night fuels speculation that Taylor acquisition is imminent.
