Payton emphatically rules out benching Nix despite inconsistent early-season play.

Sean Payton has emphatically ruled out benching Bo Nix, stating 'To answer your question, no' with a dismissive tone when asked about the possibility. Despite Nix's inconsistent play through six weeks, Payton remains committed to the rookie quarterback he drafted as the franchise's future, though the head coach has become more conservative with play-calling at times due to uncertainty in Nix's consistency. Nix acknowledges the need to improve, stating 'I have to play better. We have to play better. The offense has to play better,' and expresses confidence he can overcome current obstacles.
