Kubiak hints at potential Cousins benching, considers Mendoza.

First-year coach Klint Kubiak raised eyebrows when asked after the Raiders' 35-21 loss to the Rams if he is considering replacing quarterback Kirk Cousins with rookie Fernando Mendoza. While Kubiak gave a measured response emphasizing the team must think about everything, he also noted the Raiders' problems run deeper than the quarterback position, citing the need to balance 44 pass attempts with only 17 runs.
