Yahoo Fantasy Football - Josh & Hayden on Cam Akers

Akers trusted rest of season after benching; projected 22-24 RB range with Tracy injured.

After being benched last week, Akers is expected to be trusted for the rest of the season following coach Harbaugh's praise and embrace post-game. Projected to finish in the 22-24 RB range for the remainder of the season, a significant downgrade from his top-15 fantasy RB status last year, but reflects renewed confidence and opportunity with Tyrone Tracy injured and no other viable backup in the offense. Received credit for carries in Week 7, running through tackles.
