Ferguson remains on injured reserve with a high-ankle sprain but is eligible to return as early as Week 8. With WR Davante Adams expected to miss about two months with a major hamstring injury, tight ends will play an outsized role in the Rams' offense. Ferguson is younger and far more athletic than the other Rams tight ends (Higbee, Parkinson, Allen). He had 6-54-1 on nine targets against the Broncos in Week 2 and appeared to be on the verge of a breakout before getting hurt in Week 3. If available, he's worth acquiring for teams unhappy with their TE situation.
