Yahoo Sports NFL on Jordan Watkins

Watkins showed promise with diving catch; source optimistic despite missed opportunities.

Watkins made a great fingertip grab in the third quarter where he dove for a throw. At the beginning of the fourth quarter, Watkins was wide open down the seam on a play that was underthrown; if hit in stride, it would arguably be a touchdown. The source describes him as 'cautiously optimistic' and notes that if you simulate his final two targets 100 times, he probably catches it 97 times, suggesting he was on the wrong end of variance.
