Video: 2026 Wide Receiver Rankings & Tiers (Updated)
This Devont Smith ranking is impossible to make. The reason for this is there were comments that were made by this coaching staff that made it sound like there is a nonzero% chance that Devont Smith may get shut down for the season... I am going to be a little bit lower on Devont Smith knowing that again, the possibility that he gets shut down for the year is real, even if it is unlikely.

Coaching staff shutdown comments warrant lower ranking despite unlikely scenario.

Eagles coaching staff made comments suggesting a nonzero% chance Smith could be shut down for the season. While the source does not expect this to be likely, the possibility is real enough to warrant ranking him lower than his talent would otherwise suggest.
