From the video
he's good. Two, they spent a first round pick on him... Cooper has shown that ability. He is a guy who can play outside inside... There's just more things you can do with Omar Cooper Jr. than AD Mitchell... Omar Cooper does not belong in this conversation. He is not a middle of the pack rookie. He was a first round pick uh who I had as a higher ranked prospect than uh any of these guys.
STACKED’s take
Versatile first-rounder who can play all three receiver positions and beat all coverage types.
Matt Harmon emphasizes Omar Cooper Jr.'s versatility and broader offensive application compared to teammate Adie Mitchell. Cooper can play outside, inside, and slot; beat both press man and zone coverage; and operate in multiple personnel groupings (12, 21 personnel, two-tight-end sets). Harmon had Cooper and Mitchell in the same prospect tier but credits Cooper with greater depth of talent and more things an offense can do with him. The Jets' first-round investment signals serious commitment despite limited sample size (five quarters played). Harmon notes Cooper does not belong in the middle-pack rookie wide receiver conversation because he was a first-round pick with a higher prospect ranking than any of the other candidates.
