Ron Stewart on Ted Hurst

VideoEverything You Need to Know Before Week 8 Fantasy Football (Rookie Report)October 26, 2026

From the video

Ted Hurst at best is a sacrificial X that is going to run, you know, 92% of the routes here without a mecha Ibuka and get no volume whatsoever to show for it... even when he was running all of the routes on the 11 attempts Baker Mayfield had, he still did absolutely nothing with them. Ted Hurst is somebody you can drop in most setups.

92% routes but sacrificial X role; droppable in most formats.

Ted Hurst is running 92% of routes but functioning as a sacrificial X receiver with no meaningful volume to show for it. Even when Baker Mayfield had only 11 pass attempts due to a thumb injury, Hurst ran all available routes but produced nothing. Ron Stewart recommends dropping Ted Hurst in most fantasy setups.
