Malik Willis delivered a breakout Week 7 performance against the New York Jets, completing 14 of 21 passes for 208 yards and 2 passing touchdowns while adding 37 rushing yards and 1 rushing touchdown with zero turnovers; finished with a 130.7 passer rating—his highest of the season—and earned a FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week nomination. The Dolphins won their first game of the year on the strength of Willis's dual-threat efficiency. Upcoming matchup vs. New England Patriots (ranked 10th in yards allowed per game at 315.7 and 9th in scoring defense at 20.4 points per game) presents a difficult test but follows Willis's strong performance against the previously 5th-ranked Jets defense.
